Equality at St. Dunstan’s

At St. Dunstan’s Catholic Primary School we believe that the Equality Act provides a framework to support our commitment to valuing diversity, tackling discrimination, promoting equality and fostering good relationships between people.

We are committed to ensuring that all members of the school community and the wider community are treated fairly and with respect by the school and each other.

This applies to the school as a place of education and as an employer. Prejudice, discrimination and victimisation are not tolerated and we work hard to instil in our pupils the importance of inclusion, acceptance and compassion towards others.

Our Equality Policy sets out how the school will promote equality of opportunities for all. It is created by St Dunstan’s Governing Body with the help of the school’s Senior Leadership Team in line with the Equality Act 2010 and is the foundation of all the school’s other policies. The Equality Policy can be found on our policies page here.
