School Day
The Organisation of School Day
There is an arrival window to ease congestion on the adjacent roads before and after school. The arrival window for all children is between 8.40am and 8.55am.
The school day officially begins at 8.55am.
Children can enter the building from 8.40am via one of three gates supervised by school staff: Little Wooden Gate, Kitchen Gate, Fire Gate.
Children must be supervised by a parent or nominated adult at all times on school site before 8:40am. Children may not be left unattended on school site before or after school.
Children have a lunch break in the middle of the day.
There is a staggered departure to ease parking at the end of the school day.
The school day ends at:
- 3.05pm for Reception
- 3.10pm for Year 1
- 3.15pm for Years 2 and 3
- 3.20pm for Years 4, 5 and 6
Reception, Year 1 and 2 - leave school onto the Lower School playground.
Year 3 - exit via the external hall doors, opposite the school field in KS2.
Year 4 - exit onto the Middle School playground.
Years 5 and 6 - exit via the external doors in their classroom.
