At St Dunstan’s, our Wraparound Care  offers a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children before and after school, from 7.45am until 6pm. It’s a space where children in Years 3 - 6 can take part in activities, relax with friends, and feel supported until it’s time to go home.

Wraparound care for children in Reception - Year 2 is available at Young Explorers Nursery, adjacent to the school building. Parents should contact Young Explorers directly on 01483 730052 if they have questions or wish to apply for a place. 

Fees are updated via your child's Scopay account, which is updated at the end of each half-term, and fees are due within 7 days of the start of the new term. Payment options include Childcare Vouchers, Tax Free Childcare or Scopay. If you are eligible for Universal Credit, you may be able to claim back up to 85% of your childcare costs. Wraparound Care Attendance and Ad Hoc Bookings
If your child will not be attending a booked Breakfast Club or After School Club session, please use the Wraparound Non-Attendance Form to let us know. Keeping us informed helps us maintain accurate registers and ensures our staff know when a child is not expected to attend. 

Half a term’s written notice is required if you wish to withdraw your child from a regular booking at breakfast or after-school clubs. The office will reply in writing, and if you do not receive confirmation within 48 hours of your request, please contact the school office directly.

Ad hoc bookings must be booked individually, with payment required at the time of booking and can be booked up to half a term in advance. Ad hoc sessions must be booked via the school office or by emailing wraparound@stdunstans.surrey.sch.uk

Early Birds’ Breakfast Club: 7.45am – 8.45 am
Our Early Birds’ breakfast club is run by fully trained school staff and meets in the comfort of the dedicated Extended Schools room every morning between 7.45am and 8.40am.

Drop-off is anytime from 7.45am. If you arrive between 7.45am and 8.15am, please drop your child off at the Extended Schools room via the kitchen gate. For arrivals after 8.15am, please use the school office entrance.  

Healthy and tasty breakfast options are available; a variety of cereals, hot toast and drinks. There are plenty of games to play, books to read, opportunities to be outdoors and the space and time to finish that forgotten homework or just to be quiet and prepare for the day ahead.

Early Birds provides a relaxed, calm and safe start to every day.

Stay and Play After School Club: 3.15pm – 6pm
Our Stay and Play after-school club is a very popular part of St Dunstan’s. Available from the end of school through to 6pm, the Club provides the opportunity for a fun wind down after a hard day at school! It is run and managed by school staff, not an out of school provider.

There are snacks and an incredibly wide range of activities available to the children with supervised access to the school grounds.

Our team of trained and experienced staff strives to ensure that the Stay and Play After School Club is the equivalent of being at home: safe, relaxed and lots of fun.

Collection is any time before 6pm. If you arrive before 4.15pm, please collect your child from the school office. After 4.15pm, enter through the kitchen gate and collect from the Extended Schools room.
