Home School Agreement

At St Dunstan’s Primary School, we believe that a successful education is built on a strong partnership between the school, parents and carers, and pupils. As these relationships develop, mutual trust, respect and a shared sense of purpose are essential.

Our home-school agreement reflects our commitment to working together to create a positive, supportive and inclusive learning environment. Through open, honest and respectful communication, alongside purposeful collaboration, we aim to ensure that every pupil is able to fulfil their potential.

Together, we nurture a happy and compassionate Catholic community where children are at the centre of all we do, and where faith, love and excellence guide our work.

We are committed to promoting children’s online safety and expect all members of our community to act as positive role models in their use of technology and social media. Staff follow clear policies, and we ask parents and carers to do the same in line with the school’s Online Safety Policy. We also ask parents to support the Acceptable Use Policy for digital devices, uphold our mobile phone–free approach, and follow agreed communication etiquette to ensure that all interactions remain respectful and supportive.

We strive for the very best for all children, while recognising that there may be occasions when concerns arise. In such instances, we encourage parents and carers to speak first with the class teacher so that any matters can be addressed promptly and effectively. We are committed to working in partnership to ensure that every child’s wellbeing and success remain at the heart of our shared efforts.
