Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
As a Catholic School, we believe that every child in our care is made in the image and likeness of God. Our role within school is to support and nurture all of our children to become the person that God intended them to be.
Enabling children to be their very best is achieved through the support and adaptations that are made to our ambitious and carefully planned curriculum, in addition to the resources we have at St. Dunstan’s.
We really value the partnership that we have with our parents and this is vital to ensure the best outcomes for your child. If you ever have a concern about your child, do speak to your child’s class teacher in the first instance, as they have the closest relationship with your child in school.
The care and provision for our children with Special Educational Needs is carefully overseen and coordinated by Miss Hughes our SENDCO . She can be contacted through the school office or via email at sendco@stdunstans.surrey.sch.uk
“Staff are extremely ambitious for pupils, including those who are disadvantaged or who have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Everyone works together as part of this happy and compassionate Catholic community.”
